Very Simple Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

Dear Turkey,

I can't be bothered
To make cinnamon rolls that
Take hours of work

Very Simple Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls
(makes 12, barely adapted from budget bytes)

Ingredients:

For the dough:
- 2.5 c flour
- 1 t salt
- 1 T sugar
- 4 t baking powder
- 1 pint heavy cream or whole milk

For the filling:
- 4 T butter
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 2 T cinnamon
- 1/2 c milk chocolate chips (or whatever kind you have)

For the frosting:
- 1 1/4 c powdered sugar
- 1 T cocoa
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 4 t heavy cream

Instructions:
- With your hands, knead the dough ingredients just until a ball forms. Generously flour a piece of wax paper and roll out the dough (with plenty of flour!) until it's about the size of a cookie sheet.
- Melt the butter and combine it with the brown sugar and cinnamon; dollop this around the rectangle of dough and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
- Roll up the dough (in the direction that will give you the longer spiral of filling) and slice into 12 rounds. Place these in a well-buttered baking dish (they can be touching). Bake at 400 F for 20-30 minutes, or until the tops are just starting to darken. Cool completely.
- Combine the frosting ingredients and spread on top of the rolls. Strangely, I found these to be better on day 2.

Enjoy,
Tofu
