Noodle Kugel
(from my grandma, serves many)
Ingredients:
- 1 lb egg noodles (medium size), cooked al dente in salted and oiled water, drained
- 3/4 lb farmer's cheese
- 3/4 lb pot cheese or pot-style cottage cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 3/4 c raisins
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 t salt
Instructions:
- Combine everything except the noodles in a big bowl and mix well. Stir in noodles.
- Bake in a well-oiled 9x13 pan at 350 F for 50 minutes until the top and sides are starting to brown (this took me longer). My grandma would add: top with crumbled cornflakes.
