Cheese-Stuffed Pull-Apart Rolls

Dear Turkey,

Yeah, these are just as
Delicious as they sound, and
Easy to make, too

Cheese-Stuffed Pull-Apart Rolls
(adapted from here, makes 1 large loaf)

Ingredients:
- 2.5 c white flour
- 1 t yeast
- 2 T sugar
- 1 t salt
- 2 eggs, beaten, with about 1 T reserved
- 4 T butter, divided
- 4 cheese sticks, cut into 6 pieces each

Instructions:
- Melt 2 T of the butter with 1/2 c water and allow to cool to wrist temp. Add the yeast and sugar and let stand 2 minutes. Knead in the flour, salt, and eggs (leave out the 1 T for later). Knead for about 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let rise for an hour or two in a warm place.
- Use some of the remaining butter to generously butter a loaf pan. Divide the dough into 24 balls and stuff a piece of cheese into each ball (or just flatten the ball out and pinch it around the cheese). Arrange the balls in the loaf pan in two rows/levels of 12. Cover and let rise another hour or so.
- Brush the dough with the remaining egg and bake at 375 F for about 35 minutes or until the top of the loaf is starting to brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped. If you're not sure, bake it more.
- Remove from the oven and brush with the rest of the butter. Serve immediately, but it's also excellent the next day as well.

Enjoy,
Tofu
