Decadent No Sugar, No Flour, Vegan Chocolate Donuts

Dear Turkey,

If you don't have a
Donut pan, you can just make
Muffins or cupcakes

Decadent No Sugar, No Flour, Vegan Chocolate Donuts
(makes 6 small donuts, adapted from here)

Ingredients:
- 1 c pitted dried medjool or other nice-ish dates
- 1/2 c milk (I used soy unsweetened)
- 1/2 c smooth nut butter (I used PB)
- 1/2 c cocoa
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 t vanilla extract
- pinch salt

Instructions:
- In your blender, blend the dates, milk, and nut butter. You may have to add extra milk or water in order to help your blender really blend it all the way through, like a smoothie; just be prepared to add extra baking time to accommodate the extra liquid.
- Blend or stir in remaining ingredients (I stirred mine in right in the blender).
- Generously oil a donut pan (even if it's silpat, these will stick without oil!), and distribute batter (my pan is between a mini and a regular and I made 6).
- Bake at 350 F for 15-30 minutes -- this will depend on how big your donuts are and how much liquid your batter had. If in doubt, bake them longer, because they are tricky to remove from the pan even when fully cooked.
- Cool completely (trust me!), and carefully remove from the pan (you may need to run a knife around them before trying.
- Top with melted chocolate of your choice, or softened coconut oil mixed with some cocoa. These freeze well.

Enjoy,
Tofu
