Candied Walnut Bark

Dear Turkey,

Remember those candied pecans? Yeah, those are amazing. What's more amazing is if you stick them on top of a piece of chocolate.

This is a quick homemade dessert that looks fancy. And it's something different if you're sick of the usual baked goods (I personally can't picture this scenario). It also stores and transports easily, and you can take it right from the freezer to a party (or your mouth).

Candied Walnut Bark

Ingredients:
- 1 batch candied nuts (I used walnuts, but you can use whatever)
- 2 c chocolate chips (or better chocolate if you're motivated), melted
- 1 T sea salt

Instructions:
- Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper and spread the melted chocolate over the parchment (it should be about 1/8 inch thick, or enough to hold the nuts without breaking).
- Sprinkle the nuts over the chocolate and sprinkle the sea salt on top of that. Refrigerate or freeze until the chocolate is hard.
- If you have leftover nuts like I did, toss them in the bowl that you melted the chocolate in, adding a bit more salt. This makes them just a little bit chocolatey and really delicious.

Enjoy,
Tofu
