Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dear Turkey,

This isn't like my
Usual cookies: these are
Really decadent

Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies
(makes 24)

Ingredients:
- 2 sticks butter, room temp
- 2 eggs, room temp
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 c white sugar
- 2 t vanilla
- 1.5 t salt
- 1.5 t baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 3 c whole wheat flour (regular, pastry, or white whole wheat will all work)

Instructions:
- Cream the butter and sugars, and beat in the eggs and vanilla. Beat in the rest of the ingredients, ending with the chocolate chips.
- Chill or freeze the dough for at least a couple of hours or up to two days. When you're ready to bake, allow it to warm up just enough so you can scoop/pull off balls.
- Cover 2 baking sheets with parchment (sometimes I need to overflow onto 3 because the cookies are big and they do spread out). Make 24 balls (I actually roll them) and distribute on the sheets.
- Bake at 350 F for 16 minutes. Cool for a few minutes before you remove.

Enjoy
Tofu
